Jon Allen

p06cpytbJon Allen is a folk rock singer-songwriter born in Winchester, currently living in London. His debut album Dead Man’s Suit was released in 2009 on Monologue Records. He is best known for the hit songs In Your Light and Going Home the later of which featured in a worldwide advert for the Land Rover Freelander 2.

With his music being evocative of the folk-rock scene of the late 60s/ early 70s; Jon is able to use his soulful words and his feel-good music to deliver a sincere sound.

2011 saw the release of “Sweet Defeat’ Jon’s second album. Tracks from this album (Sweet Defeat, Joanna) have been synced in TV shows ‘Homeland’ & ‘Bones’ as well as the Hugh Laurie movie ‘The Oranges’.

A confident performer – opening for the likes of Mark Knopfler, Emmylou Harris, KT Tunstall, Jose Gonzalez and Damien Rice has not fazed him – wowing audiences in the process in venues from the miniscule 12 Bar all the way up to Wembley Arena.

Jon’s new album ‘Blue Flame’ was released on the 18th of May 2018, to positive reviews from critics and fans alike.
