Luke Branch is best known as the font man and songwriter for critically acclaimed band Asylums, who hail from Southend on Sea.

Luke is also a prolific songwriter and lyricist and has worked on a diverse series of projects for Polydor, Universal, Island Records, EMI, Netflix and Channel 4.

As a multi instrumentalist, Producer, & Songwriter Luke is able to bring a rare energy, intelligence and insight to his projects.

Since breaking on to the scene in 2014 Asylums have released 2 albums via their own Cool Thing label, as well as a 10 singles, all of which have been championed by DJs Huw Stephens, Steve Lamacq, Zane Low and Dave Rowntree, receiving radio play on Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Kerrang, Channel 4, and The Independent.

The band are also known for an awe inspiring live show which has seen them play major festivals in Europe and the UK including Glastonbury, Reading, and Bestival. As well support slots for bands Killing Joke, Ash and The Enemy.
