Paperface is a musical talent hailing from London. He mostly works in secret.
His debut album Out of Time was met with much critical acclaim upon release in 2015, and the animation which accompanied the first single ‘A Bigger Man’ received prizes at various film festivals. However, preferring to keep some mystery around himself, he made only a few appearances.The most notable of which included a performance at the BBC Wales studios in Cardiff and a packed show at the Union Chapel in Islington.
Off the back of the success of Out of Time Paperface continues to release a steady stream of music. with ‘Idiot’, which charts the waves of emotion that wash over us between 9am and 5pm. Recorded in glorious analogue. ‘Idiot’, is accompanied by an animated lyric video, a follow up to the award winning animation for ‘A Bigger Man’ from the first album.
In August of 2018 Paperface released the single “My Friends Can’t Dance” a pumping, captivating single.
