Father Father – Where I Belong

KellyCongratulations to Wardlaw Music writer David Malin on co-writing the title track “Where I Belong” on the debut album from Father Ray Kelly. Father Kelly, who became an internet hit in early 2014 after being captured on video singing ‘Hallelujah’ to a bride & groom that he had just married, debuted his album at Number 4 in the Irish chart in December 2014. The album has since been released in Germany and the UK in January and is being released in the US in March on Universal/Manhatten records.

Everything Is Fine – Hawk Eyes announce release of new album

Hawk Eyes Tour

Hawk Eyes have announced the release of their new album ‘Everything Is Fine’ for February 2015. Writing for the record begun back in 2012 with spurts of creativity between tours and shows both humungous and small. Having supported the likes of System of A Down at arena shows and playing the biggest music festivals across Europe, as well as festivities such as SXSW over in the States, Hawk Eyes are poised to take over the world of heavy music.

The first track to be set loose on an unsuspecting public is the rip roaring ‘Die Trying’, an exemplary slice of Hawk Eyes’ riff-fuelled brilliance which was premiered on Daniel P Carter’s BBC Radio One Rock Show.

The album can be pre ordered here .

Deep RiverDeep River is the third album from Jon Allen – who has now become somewhat of a regular on the playlist at Radio 2. A great voice, and melodies that shimmer and sparkle like the best summer days.

Album of the week at BBC Radio 2, there is a lot to take in on this record, as it flows from one musical genre to another. An enthralling musical journey.

Ed Sheeran X – Wizzy Wow

Ed XCongratulations to our writer Wizzy Wow, who has a share of the song ‘NINA’ on Ed Sheeran’s new album, X.

The song samples the Wretch 32 track ‘Welcome To My World‘ co-written by Wizzy.

“Nina” was written with Johnny McDaid, and was the first song the pair wrote for the album. According to McDaid, it is a “self-deprecating” love song about “heartbreak… where he basically calls someone up and advises her not to be with him”
