Congratulations to Wardlaw Music writer David Malin on co-writing the title track “Where I Belong” on the debut album from Father Ray Kelly. Father Kelly, who became an internet hit in early 2014 after being captured on video singing ‘Hallelujah’ to a bride & groom that he had just married, debuted his album at Number 4 in the Irish chart in December 2014. The album has since been released in Germany and the UK in January and is being released in the US in March on Universal/Manhatten records.
Hawk Eyes have announced the release of their new album ‘Everything Is Fine’ for February 2015. Writing for the record begun back in 2012 with spurts of creativity between tours and shows both humungous and small. Having supported the likes of System of A Down at arena shows and playing the biggest music festivals across Europe, as well as festivities such as SXSW over in the States, Hawk Eyes are poised to take over the world of heavy music.
The first track to be set loose on an unsuspecting public is the rip roaring ‘Die Trying’, an exemplary slice of Hawk Eyes’ riff-fuelled brilliance which was premiered on Daniel P Carter’s BBC Radio One Rock Show.
Singer-songwriter Jon Allen is touring the UK in October and November in support of his widely acclaimed new album, Deep River.
It’s the first time Jon Allen has toured his trademark mix of catchy tunes and folk and Sixties-inflected country blues in the UK since 2013, and follows appearances at the Cornbury Festival and Kew The Music in July.

‘Move’ by Little Mix has been used by Victoria’s Secret in its latest TV & online advertising campaign. The track is co-written by Maegan Cottone & Nathan Duvall, writers signed to Phrased Differently and administered by Wardlaw Music.
So, when we move, you move….
“Nina” was written with Johnny McDaid, and was the first song the pair wrote for the album. According to McDaid, it is a “self-deprecating” love song about “heartbreak… where he basically calls someone up and advises her not to be with him”
