Pete MacLeod Releases “Walk to the Light”
Scottish singer-songwriter Pete MacLeod returns September 28th with his third solo album Walk To The Light. With a flair for crafting hard-edged yet sensitive and melodic guitar-based rock tunes, Pete will be touring the UK September/October.
With production assistance from Youth (who also plays bass on several songs) this album once again features contributions from Simon Tong (The Verve, Gorillaz) and James McCartney (solo artist and son of Paul), as well as Andy Bell (Ride, Oasis, Beady Eye) on the elegiac album closer ‘Saudade’. Other highlights include the upbeat, funky sounding ‘I Need Your Love’, the sunshine pop inflected ‘California Son’ and the reflective title song.
