Not Giving It Up

We are thrilled to say that Wardlaw artist Carl Hayley features on the new album by Swiss pop singer and TV personality Stefanie Heinzmann!

Carl helped to co write the track ‘Not Giving Up’, which features as track one on the new album.

Simon Shackleton joins the Wardlaw family!

We are very excited to announce the signing of DJ, Songwriter, Photographer and Producer Simon Shackleton to the Wardlaw roster!

Simon has over 20 years experience in the music industry, having been in groups such as Lunatic Calm (with music placed in the original Matrix film), The Headless Chickens (with Radiohead member Thom Yorke), Elite Force and Zodiac Cartel. Simon has also composed music for video games such as FIFA, Wipeout and Motorstorm Apocalypse, which was written with Pirates of the Caribbean composer Klaus Badelt.

Simons awards include: Breakspoll Award 2011 – Best Producer
Beatport Award 2011 – Best Selling Breaks Track (M.A.D.)
Breakspoll Award 2011 – Best Record Label (U&A)

Welcome to Gary Moat!

We are delighted to welcome Gary Moat, the latest signing to the Wardlaw stable.

The former drummer and lead songwriter for hard rock outfit Heavy Pettin, Gary has taken up the opportunity to come to the front of the stage with his group, Burnt Out Wreck.

Formed in 2016, the band released their debut album ‘Swallow’ in 2017 on Cherry Red Records.

With a new album in the pipeline and shows coming up around the UK across 2019 things are looking very promising for Burnt Out Wreck!

‘Earthquake’ added to Power Hour!

Recent release ‘Earthquake’ by Justin Prime and D3FAI, featuring Jake Lewis has been added to the Spotify playlist ‘Power Hour‘! The track fits right in amongst other dance music heavy hitters like Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris and Steve Angello.

The track is part of a collaboration between Jake Lewis, and Justin Prime and D3FAI. The track has had early support from big names in electronic music: Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Afrojack and Morgan Page, being played on each of the DJ’s radio shows.

Renaissance Men

Out today is The Wildhearts hotly anticipated new album, Renaissance Men! The album finds the band critiquing a whole host of modern day concerns, from bullying on social media, to the pharmaceutical industry to mental health professionals.

The release of the album is accompanied by a UK wide tour, which starts in Manchester on the 3rd of May, and, fittingly, finishes in the bands home turf of Newcastle on May 12th, at the Riverside.

Upcoming Gigs!

As the summer season begins to approach we have lots of exciting gigs to share with you from our artists! For the first time we have 3 bands playing Camden Rocks festival, as well as album launch gigs from Paperface and Louise Connell! Jon Allen also returns to Borderline in London this June.


Hot on the heels of her 2018 album The Enchanted Way, Sally is back with her latest release, Mystique!

Released today via Secret Ocean Records, the 15 track album includes some older material that has been lovingly updated, as well as some special live recordings of ‘Song of the Healer’ and ‘Sun In My Eyes’.

Pete MacLeod Firing Line Tour!

Fast approaching for May and June is Pete MacLeod’s tour of iconic venues across the UK. Covering Manchester, Newcastle, London and 2 venues in Scotland the shows will see Pete playing tracks from his back catalogue as well as his latest single ‘Firing Line’.

Pete will also round of the year with a special gig at The Garage in Glasgow!

The Big 3-0 Tour!

The sun may be beginning to shine outside but Christmas has come early for us at Wardlaw, with roster bands GUN and Dan Reed Network heading out on a UK tour together with FM to celebrate 3 classic albums, all released in 1989!

Join the bands across 10 cities in December, tickets on sale Wednesday 17th April at 9am.

This is taken from the Vanity Fair interview with composer Hans Zimmer. After watching Hans’s lesson series for Masterclass, it puts a smile on my face to think back to watching that series and remembering Hans’s self effacing attitude. Never satisfied with the work he has done, always convinced that there is more in the tank.
