Happy New Year from everyone at Wardlaw!
After gearing back up after the festive period, we are excited to announce that the new year brings with it many things, best of all this includes new music!
Below we’ve put together what we can share with you about a few of our artists upcoming releases!
The Blackheart Orchestra- “Mesmeranto”. Described by the band as “adventurous”, it sees the group building on an incredibly successful 2018 that saw them support Hawkwind on their UK tour, releasing their album Diving For Roses to rave reviews, being nominated for the Limelight Award at the Progressive Music Awards and wrapping off 2018 with a beautiful intimate show at St Pancras Old Church in December. 2019 will see an extensive headline tour In support of the album, with the band playing dates in January, February and April.
Hawk Eyes- We received the first mix of the new Hawk Eye’s album and it sounds fantastic. A really assured, brilliantly executed LP that sees the band experimenting in new sonic territories. Whilst we can’t give you an exact release date, rest assured 2019 will see the release of this enthralling new addition to the Hawk Eyes catalogue.
Iamwarface- after the release of “Closer” in 2018, the group are back with a new track “Fear The Future” set for release on 22nd of February. Eager listeners got to hear the track in full on New Year’s day with a special premier on Zetland radio by Karl Bavin, keep watching the bands Facebook page for more updates on what is set to be an busy year for the band.
But that’s not all, throughout this year we also have new releases from Jake Lewis, Asylums, Louise Connell, Paperface and many others!
