Singer-Songwriter Louise Connell releases her first track of 2022, the beautiful ‘The Truth That I Suppose I Always Knew’. Louise recently signed with the brilliant indie label Last Night From Glasgow (LNFG) for her next album. The release is available on all streaming platforms as well as on CD, which will also include five of her previous singles.
On September 10th Louise supports Monica Queen at the CCA, Glasgow.
Darryl Hunt - The Pogues R.I.P
Darryl Hunt bassist and songwriter with The Pogues has passed away at the age of 72.
The musician, singer and songwriter was born in Hampshire in 1950, studied fine art at Nottingham Trent and formed his first band in 1973, The Brothel Creepers. He later formed punk band The Favourites before joining The Pogues in 1986.
Darryl wrote The Pogues classic song 'Love You Till The End'.
Darryl also recorded 2 albums with his band BISH.
At Wardlaw, we had the true pleasure of working with Darryl for many years, spending many hours talking music, football, & comic books. At least you saw Forest return to the Premier League.

Manchester Prog duo The Blackheart Orchestra have released the track ‘The Tide’ taken from the band’s upcoming album Hotel Utopia, which will be released through Ceandar Records on September 23, 2022. Hotel Utopia takes a musical look at the afterlife, an audio movie for the listener’s mind, emotions and imagination.
