Alone Together, a poem by Maya Angelou brought to life, ironically,
during this pandemic by this poignant film created by New Art Films.

Asylums Luke Branch has written the music for this reflective view of
the world, as we live in it today. Who knew? Maya Angelou knew. The
serenity and peace from every note tells us what we already know.

Inspired by the Global lockdown, Dancers from the Dutch National Ballet took to home recordings to present their choreography to the Kevin Hughes co-write of Di-rect’s ‘Hold On’. #Stayinside #Staysafe

“Where to begin? Here” by St Etienne, a co-write featuring Dolly Mixture member Debsey Wykes has been used in Norwegian drama Barn (translated as Children), released in September.

Another bit of sync news for 2019. The Jon Allen track ‘Loving Arms’ was used in the recently released Elizabeth Chomko film “What They Had”, starring Hilary Swank, Michael Shannon Robert Forster and
Blythe Danner.

Cold War Espionage series Deutschland ’83 was given the Rocky Horror Picture show treatment for Episode 10 of Series 2. Elsewhere another Rocky Horror track “Time Warp” was used in the French film “Une Jeunesse Dorée” (Golden Youth).

Featured on the 2016 Reverieme album Straw Woman,’Fairy Stories’ is an upbeat track to cure your January blues, complete with brass section and Ukulele strumming!

The track was most recently featured on Korea drama Live (라이브) .

‘Bad Penny’ by Jon Allen has been synced in the film Breaking and Exiting, the story of a young burglar who breaks into a house only to find the owner, Daisy, about to commit suicide.

To raise further awareness of this environmental pollution, Vice have been in partnership with Adidas and Parley’s joint venture to design a plastic free world which involves using discarded plastic to create shoes and items of clothing.

Our very own William Stankay created the score for this documentary, with 90% of the music being original earth noise including sounds and recordings from the Arctic, Pacific and Atlantic oceans.

Grupo X has partnered with West Ham United to announce the signing of their newest player, Brazilian international Felipe Anderson, using their song ‘Sunshine and You’.

Opening to positive reviews from around the country, Pincushion, an independent film by Deborah HayWood, features the songs ‘Mirrors’ and ‘The Boulevard Song’ by Wardlaw artist Sally Oldfield.

‘Enemies’ by Hawk Eyes has been synced on Episode 3 of ‘Siren’, an American television drama series that premiered on Freeform March 2018.

Wardlaw Music has had 2 songs synced in the first 3 Episodes of the new South Korean Police drama “Live’, which has premiered on Korean TV to rave reviews. ‘Fairy Stories’ by Louise Connell (Reverieme) and ‘In Your Light’ by Jon Allen both appear in the series.

Sally Oldfield’s tender song ‘Blue Water’ features in the hit Netflix series Easy.

It is synced in a scene in Series 2 Episode 8, a few minutes in as Annie bursts into tears.

Composer Pete Diggens scored the music for Sainsbury’s Halloween 2017 advert, Your Halloween Nightmare.

Sally Oldfield’s classic tracks ‘Mirrors’ and ‘Boulevard’ both feature in upcoming British movie Pin Cushion, a story of super close Mother LYN and daughter IONA who are excited for their new life in a new town. A story told with poetry and colours, about the love between a mother, her daughter and their efforts to fit-in, at the expense of valuing their own unique identity.

‘Game On’ by David Bjoerk features in the trailers for Marvel’s blockbuster Spider-Man Homecoming. The sync was negotiated & administered by Wardlaw Music. Congratulations to David and all at his Publisher Phrased Differently.
