Phones at Gigs?
An incident that took place towards the end of the set that, although it has to be said was pretty minor, took me out of the moment and gave me some thinking to do about a problem that is facing every artist in the live circuit today: the use of mobile phones at gigs.
New Year, New Music!

2018 A Year in Review…
There have been many exciting things this year for all of us here at Wardlaw. Producer Wizzy Wow was nominated for “Best Contemporary Song” at the Ivor Novello Awards, several new acts have joined our roster, we’ve seen lots of new releases from our artists (with exciting tours to boot) and have secured many placements in film, TV and trailers!
Christmas Is Coming

Dan Reed Network Go Big on Uk Tour
The Dan Reed Network is set to play 4 dates on its UK tour: Stoke on Trent, Derby, London and finishing in Manchester. They have been very warmly received in every city they’ve visited and have always delivered a belter of a show to audiences, matched equally by support acts Mason Hill and Hollowstar. The UK tour is in support of their new album Origins which is out on Friday 23rd of November.
Blackheart Orchestra on Tour with Hawkwind
It’s safe to say The Blackheart Orchestra have had an incredible experience on their tour in support of UK rock legends Hawkwind playing to packed venues in Bath, Birmingham and the historic London Palladium for not one but two dates.
‘My Bro’s’ Video from Jake Lewis
Wardlaw artist Jake Lewis has recently released a new music video for his track ‘My Bro’s’.
Shot in Toronto whilst Lewis was booked in for Canadian Music Week, the video features a whole host of landmarks and locations from the iconic city.
Asylums Added to Bill for Trondheim Rocks 2019
Asylums have just been added to the bill for Trondheim festival in Norway, sharing the bill with bigger hitters Kiss, Def Leppard and Iggy Pop. The band continues to release a steady stream of tracks from their new album Alien Human Emotions including reflective track ‘The Company You Keep’ (released 7th November) and ‘Graveyard Tourism’ (released 30th October).
Dan Reed Network debuts music video for ‘One Last Time’

Pete MacLeod Releases “Walk to the Light”
Scottish singer-songwriter Pete MacLeod returns September 28th with his third solo album Walk To The Light. With a flair for crafting hard-edged yet sensitive and melodic guitar-based rock tunes, Pete will be touring the UK September/October.

Tully Gun Releases "Scars"
Tully Gun, songwriter, has teamed up with KASMS to co-write the EP Scars.
Consisting of four tracks, Scars is a synth-pop album infused with acoustic elements. KASMS voice gives powerfully layered choruses creating stories within his verses.
Kitty Finer Releases “A-Side”
Kitty Finer has released her EP A-Side on Spotify and Apple Music - available from the 3rd of August. Consisting of four tracks, Kitty’s EP packs a punch with its rough guitars and punchy vocals.
Adidas and Parley Design a Plastic Free World
To raise further awareness of this environmental pollution, Vice have been in partnership with Adidas and Parley’s joint venture to design a plastic free world which involves using discarded plastic to create shoes and items of clothing.
Our very own William Stankay created the score for this documentary, with 90% of the music being original earth noise including sounds and recordings from the Arctic, Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
